In 2024, DPI organised a total of 16 events, which included Peace Tables, International and Reverse Conflict Resolution Exchanges, Interactive Seminars, Briefing and Mentoring sessions, and Assessment Meetings. These events were held across London, Europe, Türkiye, and online, ensuring accessibility through a hybrid model. Key topics included Türkiye’s shifting political landscape, the evolving Kurdish issue, women’s roles in peacebuilding, and the socio-political implications of constitutional reform. Noteworthy moments included forums on post-election analysis, gender inclusion in peace processes, and high-level discussions around the potential re-opening of the peace process. DPI’s work in 2024 critically influenced cross-party dialogue, engaged a wide range of stakeholders, and reinforced its status as a central facilitator in Türkiye’s pursuit of democratisation and sustainable peace.
