Held at Bilkent University, this seminar engaged young participants in discussions about how Türkiye’s youth perceive peace, conflict, and the ongoing refugee crisis. The group examined the evolving definition of peace among younger generations, noting the importance of addressing structural inequalities and ensuring social justice. Importantly, the seminar provided a rare opportunity for cross-political dialogue, enabling students from various ideological backgrounds to share views, challenge stereotypes, and explore how youth-led movements can play a more active role in peacebuilding.
