The Good Friday Agreement – An Overview

The paper summarizes and analyses the Good Friday Agreement as a centrepiece of the Northern Irish conflict resolution process. It offers an overview of the main actors, negotiations and agreements as well as presenting observations and lessons learned from the process.This paper is the first in a series of papers that will be published by DPI on the Northern Irish process.
